The World Economic Forum has set Problem Solving as the It is one of the Top 10 skills to have in the 21st-Century Skills.
So why is “problem solving” an important weapon and skill in the digital age? Because in a work context that is rapidly changing, unclear, ambiguous, and complex, the chances of mistakes or failures in missions are higher.
In the real working world, the real problem may not be immediately visible. And rushing to fix it without understanding the “root” of the problem may unknowingly make the situation worse. That is why many organizations have started to emphasize “Creative Problem Solving” skills, which does not just mean thinking outside the box, but thinking systematically, understanding the situation from all sides, and being able to deal with difficult problems to turn them into opportunities for development.
This course will start you by asking the right questions, seeing problems in a deeper way, knowing how to distinguish “real problems” from “problem symptoms”, then learning to prioritize problems, analyzing the root causes from both systems and human errors, and then using tools like Brainstorming, Question Storming and Decision Matrix to create and select effective solutions.
