You don't need prior knowledge of statistics or programming. I don't like math and numbers very much. Will this course be boring and difficult?
It's not difficult and definitely not boring! In this course, we'll delegate all the "calculation" tasks to AI. What we'll learn is "giving instructions and interpreting the results," just like a manager giving instructions to their personal secretary. You don't have to do the calculations yourself; you just need to understand what the numbers the AI returns tell you about your task. This course focuses on strategic thinking, not on complex formulas.
How accurately will AI understand and analyze Thai data?
Currently, AI models have advanced significantly and understand the Thai language in a business context better than 90%. Whether it's categorizing customer comments, grasping the main points of Thai reviews, or clearing up misspelled province names, AI can handle these tasks smoothly. However, in Chapter 8, we will teach you how to verify the information to ensure accuracy.
My company has a policy blocking the use of public ChatGPT/Gemini. Will I still be able to take this course?
Yes, you can! You can use your personal computer or smartphone to learn the skills and complete the exercises (using dummy data) in this course to sharpen your abilities. Furthermore, Chapter 8 introduces options for securely deploying AI in organizations, which you can present to your company's IT department to enable Enterprise AI in the future.
The company's data is highly confidential. Will using AI lead to data leaks?
That's a very good question. Security is paramount. In Chapter 8 of this course, we'll teach you the technique of "Data Anonymization," which involves transforming confidential data into anonymized data before sending it to the AI. For example, changing a customer's real name to "Customer A" allows the AI to analyze and find insights as before, ensuring that no confidential company information is leaked.
After completing this course, can I further my learning by studying advanced data tools like Power BI or Tableau?
Excellent! The problem for people who learn Power BI or Tableau and can't follow the instructions isn't because they don't know how to use the tools, but because they lack data literacy skills (they don't know what data to use for graphs and how to ask the right questions). This course will lay the foundation for your data-driven thinking. Once you have the right mindset, learning advanced drag-and-drop data visualization tools will become much easier and faster.

This course is designed to be as "accessible" as possible to break down information barriers. Therefore, the requirements focus more on readiness to learn than on technical skills.

  • Learner background: * No prior experience is required. No coding required, or advanced statistics.
    • All you need is basic computer familiarity and an experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Required equipment:
    • A computer, laptop, or tablet with a stable internet connection (a computer is recommended for convenience in trying out the data spreadsheet exercises).

  • Software and user accounts (all free):
    • Generative AI system user accounts, such as: ChatGPT (Free version) or Gemini Either one (you can register at the same time as in Lesson 1).
    • Basic spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for creating data tables.

  • Mindset is important:
    • Be open to trial and error in "communicating with AI" (Prompting) and have the curiosity to question problems in your own work.
