Working in the 21st century, an era of rapid technological growth and a century of transition from the (old) industrial era to the digital world, certainly the business infrastructure system (office, machinery, resources, etc.) and the business ecosystem (customer behavior, partners, competitors, etc.) have changed significantly. For survival and sustainability, business organizations must quickly adapt. That means changing business models, strategies and policies for doing business, resulting in changes in work styles, processes and procedures. Therefore, employees in the organization can no longer use the same set of skills in their work.
Organizations need to reskill their people to work in a new context. Routine-job skills are no longer enough as robots and automation will eventually replace humans. This course is designed based on research from the World Economic Forum. Or the World Economic Forum that has defined 10 essential skills for the 21st century, divided into 4 categories: Category 1: Problem-solving skills, Category 2: Self-Management skills, Category 3: Technology Use and Development skills. This category will be discussed in the ongoing course "Unplugged Digital Literacy" and Category 4: Skills for working with others (Working with People).
